The
Regional Natural Park of Gola della Rossa and Frasassi is the green
heart" of the Marche region. It
was born in September 1997 (regional law n. 57 dated 02.09.1997) and
with its 9,167 hectares it is the largest protected area in the region
and includes the hypogean complex of Grotte di Frįsassi.
A trip through the Park is a 'trip in the heart of the Marche
region, with the discovery of historical-artistic treasures that are
hidden by landscape rich with charm and harmony, immersed within an
integral and lush nature. The
natural scenarios that have just been described are inserted into a much
wider area, the area of the associįtion of the municipa-lities (Comunitą
Montana) of Esino-Frasassi, the enormous historical, archaeological and
cultural wealth. |
